UCL was established in 1826 to open
up education in England for the first time to students of any race, class or
religion. UCL was also the first university to welcome female students on equal
terms with men.

UCL (and all UK universities) are made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges
Admissions Service).

Accommodation
There are two Halls of Residence at
UCL, Ifor Evans Hall and Ramsay Hall, which provide breakfast and dinner from
Monday to Friday. Places are offered for 39 weeks.
